KnolMe respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content hosted through KnolMe infringes your copyright, you may send us a takedown notice and we will review it promptly.
1. Scope
This policy applies to copyright complaints about content made available through KnolMe profiles, imported materials, uploaded files, generated pages, and other public content hosted through the Service.
2. What to Include in a Notice
Please include enough information for us to identify the work and evaluate your request, including:
- Your full legal name and contact information.
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The specific KnolMe URL or other location of the allegedly infringing material.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
3. Where to Send Notices
Send copyright, DMCA, and takedown notices to legal@worldstatelabs.com with the subject line "Copyright Notice" or "DMCA Notice."
4. Counter-Notices
If you believe content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice that includes:
- Your name, address, email address, and signature.
- Identification of the material removed and its former location.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district, or if outside the United States, in San Francisco, California, and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant or their agent.
5. Repeat Infringers
We may suspend or terminate accounts of repeat infringers when appropriate and at our discretion.
